The Open Innovation Research Cluster

for Non-Ferrous Metals at RWTH Aachen University

Organisation

Structure of the Cluster

AMAP GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of the non-profit registered association Aluminium Engineering Center e.V. (aec), to which the directors of ten institutes of RWTH Aachen belong.

Setup of the Research Cluster

AMAP is open-minded for the exchange of ideas and cooperation, combines internal and external knowledge and functions as a link between practice and university.

Because of the ever more rapid changes in the development and production process AMAP wants to contribute to the strategic and commercial benefit for the participating companies through future innovations.

AMAP thus stands for innovative solutions and a trustful, long-term partnership.

For this AMAP sets up an organisational structure in the research cluster as well as appropriate internal and external platforms.
